Tanya Brennan, the creative force behind Time Capsule Studios, is an award winning, nationally published Portrait Artist in Eastern Iowa. As a professional portrait photographer since 2010, she brings over two decades of education and experience as well as an unwavering love for her craft to every shoot. From the first email, the pre-session consultation, to the portrait session, ordering appointment, and ending with product delivery, Tanya offers a full-service photography and design studio to help guide you every step of the way.

We believe this is more than just a business; it’s a heartfelt continuation of legacy. Growing up, Tanya watched her grandfather build Time Capsule Video, a business dedicated to preserving precious moments. When he passed, she knew she wanted to honor that spirit of capturing time, but with my own artistic vision.

That’s how Time Capsule Studios was born. We’ve evolved from video to fine art portraiture, but the core idea remains: to create timeless keepsakes. Our goal is to offer you an experience that results in more than just photographs. With her bustling household of two kids, three French Bulldogs, and a husband, Tanya constantly seeks to broaden her horizons with continuing education in her field as well as belonging to a number of professional organizations such as PPA, PPIowa, and the Marion Chamber of Commerce. Specializing in fine art portraiture, she strives to create images that are unique and timeless heirlooms for every client she works with.. Tanya loves to shoot from either her 2000 sqft. Uptown Marion District studio or at one of the many beautiful outdoor locations nearby.
